Lodging

The participants to the LSM can be lodged in University Student Mansions, at the Village 1, which is located less than 50 metres away from the ENSEIRB and less than 250 metres away from the faculty where public sessions will take place. A certain number of individual rooms have been booked, which have the following features:

• 90x190 cm beds;
• sheets and blankets provided, but beds not made up;
• individual lavabo;
• bathrooms (showers) and lavatories at the middle of each floor;
• collective kitchens at the end of the floors in some buildings;
• individual locks for each room (many students keep their computers there all year long);
• code lock for each building.

If you wish to benefit from these extremely advantageous fares, please register to the LSM before June, 25, and explicitely state in the comments field that you wish this lodging. Since the number of such rooms is limited, they will be assigned on a first come, first serve, basis.

The registration desk, open all day and night, is located in block E.

Food

Noon meals will be taken at the Restaurant Universitaire 1 (RU 1, i.e. the university cafeteria), located less than 50 metres away from the ENSEIRB, too. An improved meal is arranged for (standard meal plus drink plus coffee), for 40 FF (6.10 , that is, about $6).

The participants to the LSM may also take their evening meals at the RU 1, but it will then be a standard meal at 28 FF (4.27 , that is, about $4.5). We think much more interesting to take advantage of the restaurants of Bordeaux, very pleasant and quite cheap. A small supermarket is located at about 500 metres from the campus.

Since the university cafeteria is closed on sunday, July 8th, we plan to organise a pizza party at noon for people participating in the coding parties on Sunday. According to the number of participants, we will try to get cheaper prices for the pizzas. Those participating in the touristical events on Sunday will eat in restaurants outside of Bordeaux.
